A Career Built on Craft, Curiosity, and Creative Evolution
Adam Pearlman is a Creative Director, Art Director, motion designer, and VFX artist with more than 20 years of experience creating design-driven visual work across advertising, entertainment, animation, post-production, and technology.
Born in Queens, New York, Adam grew up in a creative household. His father, an advertising Creative Director, introduced him to drawing at an early age and encouraged his interest in art, design, and emerging technology. As digital tools began transforming the creative industry, Adam transitioned from pencil and paper to early versions of Photoshop and Illustrator before discovering 3D design and animation through Ray Dream Studio.
That combination of traditional art, graphic design, and early 3D work ultimately earned him a portfolio scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Adam began his professional career as a 3D artist and compositor on an animated feature before returning to New York City, where he developed his craft as a 3D animator, motion designer, and visual effects artist. Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the industry's leading design and production studios, including Psyop, The Mill, BUCK, Trollbäck, Loyalkaspar, and Versus, as well as agencies including Grey, Trade School, and 22squared. His experience also extends into the technology sector, where he has contributed creative and motion work for Airbnb.
His career has evolved from hands-on design and animation into creative leadership, with experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, and VFX Supervisor. While much of his work today involves leading creative teams, developing concepts, and guiding projects from idea through execution, he remains deeply connected to the craft and still enjoys designing and animating whenever possible.
After more than two decades in the industry, Adam remains driven by the same curiosity that started it all: creating memorable work, exploring new technology, and finding new ways to tell stories visually.
Today, he works remotely from his studio in Georgia, collaborating with agencies, studios, brands, and creative teams on projects ranging from motion design and animation to VFX, creative direction, and emerging AI-driven production.
